Windward is a corner room on the second floor of the Welch House, and has a spectacular view of the harbor and the open ocean. Three windows provide gentle sea breezes.

Windward has a king-sized four poster bed, a gas fireplace and air conditioning. The classic dark blue and tan decor includes painting and sculpture. The private bathroom is across the hall, numbered and locked for your private use only, and features a shower and a double sink set into a mirrored antique dresser. We provide bathrobes for your convienence.

All of our rooms are smoke-free, and amenities include telephone, cable TV, and VCR. For rainy days or cool evenings, choose from our extensive collection of movies and settle in for a cozy stay.

All rates are subject to Maine's seven percent lodging tax and weekly rates are available. All rates apply to two persons per room. There is a twenty-five dollar nightly charge for each additional person.

We welcome well-behaved children of all ages, but we advise parents traveling with small children that the inn is not toddler-proof.

Personal checks and major credit cards are accepted. Advance reservations must be secured with a deposit equal to 50% of the total stay.

Cancellations made at least fourteen days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a $20.00 processing fee. Cancellations made within the fourteen days will receive a voucher in the amount of your deposit good for a future stay.
