"First off. Location location location. Just a short walk down the hill and you are in the center of the harbor. Even nicer is the wonderful views from the "kitchen" and third floor decks. We began each day (we stayed four nights) with four different wonderful breakfasts. They were that good. Welch House does offer two dog friendly rooms and we took advantage of this and brought our Goldendoodle along with us. He made many friends at the Inn as well in Boorthbay which is a very dog friendly town. The owners and staff were as friendly and accomodating as you can ask."
